Why Anchorpointe?

Because we understand what it's like to be the person responsible for everything.

Running a business means making decisions, serving clients, managing people, answering emails, keeping the books moving, solving problems and somehow finding time to actually grow the business.

We know because we've been there. AnchorPointe was built to give small business owners the practical administrative and operational support they need to stop carrying everything themselves.

Business Support Specialist

Supporting businesses has been part of my story for more than 20 years. With a background and education in Business Administration and Marketing, along with hands-on experience in administration, customer care, operations and entrepreneurship, I've spent my career helping businesses stay organized, run efficiently and keep moving forward.

While raising my two amazing daughters, I worked as a Virtual Assistant back in 2006—before working remotely was even considered “normal!” During those years, I spent eight years as the Customer Care Manager for an online health company before moving into real estate as an Administrative Assistant, where I also earned my Real Estate Professional License.

In 2016, I took the leap and built my own residential and commercial cleaning business from the ground up. What started as a small idea grew into a thriving business, and I learned firsthand what it really takes to run a small business—building client relationships, managing schedules, hiring and training staff, handling payroll, marketing, creating efficient systems, solving problems and wearing approximately 47 different hats on any given day.

After an incredibly rewarding decade, I retired that business in 2026 to focus on what I've always loved most: supporting fellow business owners behind the scenes. That's how AnchorPointe was born—a chance to combine my education, experience and passion for organization with something I understand firsthand: the demands of running a small business. I know what it's like to be responsible for the clients, the employees, the schedules, the payroll, the paperwork, the problems and all the little things that somehow become your responsibility.

Some people thrive on the big ideas. Me? I thrive on creating order behind the scenes. Give me a messy calendar, an overflowing inbox, a business that feels like it's running in twelve different directions, or a process that makes everyone say, “Why are we doing it this way?” and I'm in my happy place. I'm proudly uber-organized, a little obsessed with efficient systems, and genuinely love helping business owners turn chaos into something that actually works.

My goal is simple: to be the business support partner you can rely on—someone who keeps the details moving, the wheels turning and the work getting done, so you can spend more time being the owner of your business. And yes... I may get just a little too excited about color-coded spreadsheets, a perfectly organized calendar and checking things off a to-do list. I call it a superpower.

Payroll & Human Resources Specialist | Payroll Compliance Practitioner

I'm the person who gets excited when payroll balances, compliance boxes are checked, and legislation actually makes sense. With almost two decades of experience in payroll, payroll compliance, HR administration and bookkeeping, I bring the attention to detail these areas require—along with a practical, approachable style that makes the complicated stuff a little easier to manage.

My career began in the fast-paced world of big tech in Calgary and eventually brought me to the construction industry here in the Okanagan. Working in these different environments has given me experience navigating the details, deadlines and people side of payroll and HR—and taught me that attention to detail really is a superpower. It's one I'm happy to share with the businesses I support.

When I'm not making payroll behave, I'm probably camping, dancing at a concert, or hanging out with my husband, our 13-year-old son and friends.

I like to think I’m equal parts professional and approachable. I take payroll seriously….me, not so much. For the record, I still don’t run with scissors.
